Governor Jared Polis issued a Stay-at-Home Order at 5:07 this evening. Beginning tomorrow at 6:00am, only essential personnel is allowed to work. This means that the district will be closed beginning tomorrow until April 11th or until further notice from the Governor’s office. We apologize for the inconvenience this brings; however the health of our community and especially you is of utmost importance.
We will have the school buildings open tonight until around 10:00 p.m. in order for students and staff to pick up their school supplies and all that is needed to access their online education. We will not have personnel available with the exception of an administrator at the door. We respectfully ask that you quickly enter and exit the buildings this evening. There will be no congregating in anyway inside of the buildings.
Please continue to watch your email and most importantly the school website for additional updates. An update will be provided in the morning.
Please do not be anxious about all of this. These measures are for the good of our entire community. You may still reach any of the staff through email, voicemail, and soon, their Google Classrooms. The administration will continue to work from their homes and serve our district stakeholders.
Our food distribution will begin on Monday. We have received all of your submissions and will be ready for this. More information to come…
Mrs. Richard, Superintendent
