Where Are We on Our Decisions?

In the December 12, 2019 meeting of the school board, they voted 4-1 to postpone our application to the Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) program. It is their intention to take some more time to work with our community on the designs and plans for the future facilities. There are many facets of a building project that must be addressed. The district hopes to submit an application for the BEST grant in January of 2021.

Knowing the different options, the board will take time to have a concentrated work session to sort through all of the input the community provided as well as the additional information gathered on possible locations. The board still has not decided which direction to go with the location.

In the coming months, the community input will be critical in choosing designs. Please watch for notices. We value having as many participate as possible.
