Good day,
We would like to advise families in the Dolores School District of recent COVID cases in our school district causing illness and requiring students, as well as staff, to quarantine. We do our very best to keep your children safe from illness and have completed contact tracing at this time. If you have not received a call to quarantine your child, they have not been affected. At this time I would like to ask parents to keep an eye on your children for possible symptoms in the case they become ill due to possible exposure.
With that, we would also like to ask families contact me with any concerns you may have. I am in the office from 7:30-4pm Monday-Thursday. The Montezuma County Health Department has supplied our district with rapid COVID tests which can be completed in 15 minutes if anyone would like your child tested due to mild symptoms. We also now have home
tests I can send home with parents to test in private.
Not all cough and headache is COVID, but due to the current increasing number of cases in our area, we are attempting to do our best to be as proactive as we can to keep our kids and staff healthy and ready for in class learning.
Below are COVID facts and links to assist families with questions and concerns.
Thank you for your patience,
Jennifer Gaddis
