To the Dolores Bears Community –
It is with regret that we must inform you that our high school girls volleyball team has withdrawn from their regional volleyball tournament in Oak Creek, CO this weekend. The team has has a significant COVID exposure and must therefore enter quarantine. To protect the privacy of all individuals involved we cannot elaborate further on the nature of the exposure. We are so very proud of the hard work and dedication that our lady bears showed throughout this season. Their character has shone through in a number of very difficult situations this year and they have exemplified what it means to be Dolores High School Student Athletes both on and off the court. Their season has come to an end but there is a bright future in store for these young ladies. Thank you coach Hollen for your leadership and the great example of selflessness you have been to these girls.
