Greetings Little Bear Families,
We are excited to bring the tradition of the evening Christmas Concert back to Dolores Elementary. The event will begin with the concert followed by a festival, where family members will be able to participate. Each grade level will be hosting a booth that may include a project, activity or information about current or historical holidays celebrated in the US and around the world. This is a BIG event and parent helpers are needed; if you are able to help please reach out to your child’s teacher. Please help us be courteous spectators by arriving on time and minimizing distractions in the audience.
I also wanted to share the current itinerary so that families have time to alert relatives and make arrangements for the evening. Students will need to go home before reporting as there will be no supervision prior to the schedule below. Classroom teachers will communicate dress for the event.
5:00-5:20 – Students may be dropped off at Dolores Elementary to report to their classrooms
5:30-7:00 – Choir concert starting with Kindergarten and concluding with 5th Grade. (The next grade level begins immediately following the previous grade)
7:00-7:45 – Festival with activity booths and holiday fun
Students will be in their classrooms from 5:00 to 7:00. Should you have any special circumstances please let the school know prior to the event.
