Chromebook Information

  • High School Chromebooks: All students are issued a Chromebook and charger that can be taken home. All district owned Chromebook’s internet access is filtered with the DSD Internet Content Filter whether the Chromebook is campus or at home. All 9th Grade students are issued new Chromebooks at the start of the school year. This is the same Chromebook that will be issued to the student for their entire high school career.

Repairs

  • Repairs are made on site at the school
  • Student’s Chromebook repairs take place the same day as they are turned in.
  • Students will not be charged for repair on damage deemed normal wear and tear on the Chromebooks
  • Our 2 most common items to charge students for: $25 for replacing a broken LCD display, and $25 for replacing the USB-C power cord

Chromebooks in use at the Dolores High School: Lenovo 100e 1st through 4th generations

  • Middle School and Elementary School Chromebooks: All classrooms at the Middle and Elementary schools have a classroom set of Chromebooks for students to use. These Chromebooks stay in the classroom but every student has access to a Chromebook when needed for class.

District Approved USB-C Chromebook Power Cords:

All students taking High School classes are issued a Chromebook and charger. At the end of the school year students will need to return both the Chromebook and a charger, or a bill will be sent out to the parents or guardians.

New power cords for student Chromebooks can be purchased either from the High School office for $25 or via one of the approved chargers linked below.

** If you are turning in a charger not purchased at the school here are the specifications:

  • 45w minimum
  • The USB-C cable needs to be permanently attached to the power brick
