Important announcement for all Dolores Elementary, Middle, and High School students and families.
Due to an increase in the number of positive COVID cases in our schools, and in order to prevent further spread, our wellness committee met this afternoon and made the decision to move to full remote learning next week for the elementary, middle, and high schools. Please plan on picking up your student’s Chromebook and materials Monday afternoon between one and 4pm, or on Tuesday between 8am and 4pm. Teachers will be contacting students Monday with lesson plans.
Due to the isolated location of the Teddy Bear Preschool, it will remain open for in-person care and learning.
Children who are currently quarantined, and have a quarantine period expiring on 10/11 or before, will not need a test to re-enter school on 10/11. If you have quarantine or testing questions please contact the school nurse, Jen Gaddis, on Monday to discuss.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this is going to cause for our school families, but we feel it is the safest course of action under the circumstances at this time. You will receive more information from the Principals tomorrow with details for the week, including on-line learning procedures. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
