Dear Parents and Students:
On behalf of the administration, faculty, and staff at the Dolores Middle School, we welcome you back. School resumes the week of August 14th at 7:45 AM and ends at 3:55 PM. We will be having only the 6th graders start school on August 14th to help them get familiar with the campus, get to know their teachers and the middle school expectations. On August 15th all students will return to school.
On each student’s first day of school, the student will receive his/her schedule, meet teachers, visit classrooms, discuss pertinent school rules, and participate in several team-building activities. Remember to dress for success in school appropriate attire, as this is your first official day of school.
Here is the Welcome Back Schedule for the first week of school:
Monday, August 14th is set for our Super Sixth Graders’ FIRST DAY – At 7:45 AM, 6th grade students will meet in the Auxiliary Gym for a short welcome and to prepare for the rest of the day.
- Monday, August 14th, at 4pm we will have a Welcome to Middle School meeting for 6th grade parents & students. This will be a great opportunity to meet the staff and walk through your student’s schedule with them.
Tuesday, August 15th, all middle school students will return to school. – At 7:45 AM, 7th and 8th grade students’ 1st day of school will be August 15th, they will meet in the Auxiliary Gym for a short welcome and to prepare for the rest of the day.
- Tuesday, August 15th form 4-5pm there will be a Welcome Back Open House for the 7th and 8th grade parents and students. This day will give the parents and students an opportunity to meet staff and walk through their schedule.
