I was born and raised in Colorado. I have always been involved in sports from the time I was two years old all the way through college, participating in dance, tumbling, gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, and track. I attended Western State Colorado University after high school. There I graduated with a BA in Kinesiology with an emphasis in K-12 Education and I also earned a minor in Coaching. My career started in Cortez, CO, where I taught Family and Consumer Science at Cortez Middle School for one year. I began teaching in Dolores in the fall of 2008 where I have continued to teach physical education for the past 15 years. I also have had the privilege of holding the title of head high school volleyball coach for the past 14 years.
