Dear parents: My name is Teresa Rosales and I have been working at Teddy Bear Preschool for nine years. I have been working in a preschool setting since 2003. I earned my C.D.A. credential in 2006. Then I earned my director qualifications eight years ago and my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am a mother of six children and grandmother of four girls and two boys. My family is one of my priorities in life, therefore I try to spend most of my time with them. I enjoy a variety of music and because of this, one of my favorite things to do in a classroom is to dance with the children. I believe that by using music to transition from one activity to another, the children feel less stress, which can come with changes. I enjoy being around children, reading to them, playing with them, singing with them and learning with them. I believe that a child that feels safe and loved is a happy child and will be successful in the future. One of my goals is to help them to be independent and be able to understand and manage their own feelings. I will provide age appropriate activities in order for them to learn this social /emotional piece. This is what I look forward to doing in the classroom with your children.
