Pete is in his 11th year of teaching in Dolores, and his 46th year overall of working in public education. Before moving with his wife to Dolores, he taught high school students in Columbus, Ohio, and graduate-level student teachers in The Ohio State University’s School of Teaching & Learning. In Dolores, Pete teaches students in Geology & Astronomy, Physics, Integrated Science, and Drama. He also directs the Dolores Schools Theater Troupe which performs two productions per year at the school. Pete loves teaching and he finds much to be thankful for while living his life in the Dolores area, particularly the opportunities to hike in the mountains nearby.
