I went to the University of Northern Colorado and received my B.A. in English and Secondary Education and minors in Psychology and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners. After graduating, I moved to the Zuni Indian Reservation where I taught high school English for 5 years. I married my husband, Joel, and we decided to move back to Colorado and found ourselves here in Dolores. I have taught both middle and high school for Dolores for the past 12 years. When I’m not teaching, I really enjoy reading, traveling, cooking and being outdoors. We have a miniature Dachshund, Delilah, whom we love very much!
