Welcome to 8th grade Reading and Writing! I am from Cortez and have lived on a farm and ranch all my life in the area. In secondary school, I participated in 4-H, rodeo, FFA and basketball (8th grade only). After High School, I went on to Northeastern Junior College then Colorado State University (Go Rams!) to pursue a degree in Agricultural Education. Right after college, I began teaching Ag Education in Crowley County High School (1.5 years), Dolores (6 years), and Cortez (2 years), before moving back to Dolores to take this position. When I am not in school, I love to read, paint, go fishing, and 4 wheeling in the mountains with my family. I am obsessed with cows, turquoise, and sunflowers! I am thrilled to be back in Dolores where I feel I'm at home.
