This is my first year teaching at Dolores, but my 9th year as a teacher. I taught first grade last year in Cortez and taught high school art 7 years prior to that in Texas. I graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in art education and sculpture. My husband, daughters and I moved to Colorado last summer to get closer to the mountains. I enjoy hiking, camping, snowboarding and the cool weather. I love making art and finding ways to incite and share that joy with my students.
