Dear Elementary School Parents,
All of our little bear staff members really enjoyed visiting with those of you who were able to come to our open house event Friday! If you missed it, our school theme this year is to build community and academic excellence, so we are using the Lego Movie song Everything is Awesome to stay inspired and celebrate being part of our team. We are looking forward to an awesome year beginning bright and early tomorrow morning at 8 o’clock!
Please remember that if your child needs breakfast they need to arrive earlier. We will have supervision starting at 7:30 am. Drivers, please drop off and pick up all students at the front door this year, and thank you so much for understanding our policy that parents cannot come in the building unless you pre-arrange it with principal McCormick; however, please feel welcome to park in the parking lot and take “first day at school” pictures by the front door. You’re also welcome to park and walk your children to the playground if you arrive before 8:00. Kindergarten parents are also welcome to walk children to the back entrance and take them to their classroom door.
