A Secure Was Called at the Dolores School District

Dear Parents and Community Members –

This email is being sent to you to inform you that the Dolores School District entered a “Secure” at this afternoon (A secure is called when there is a potential threat outside of the school building. Exterior doors are locked and classes resume as normal). The School District entered into the Secure at 1:10pm when Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the area around Family Dollar in response to a report that shots had been fired. Deputies looked into the situation and determined that it was unfounded. The school was taken off Secure at 1:25pm.
