Dear Parents of the Dolores District,
Dolores Schools appreciates the support we receive from parents within our district and also those families who attend from other districts.
Each year the State Board of Education determines a date that our students will be counted and reported to the state. The operation of our district is primarily funded based on student attendance on count day. These funds are used for maintenance, operations, all staff salaries, and all other aspects of running a school district.
Monday, October 2nd, is our count day. Although daily attendance is highly important, we ask parents to encourage students to attend school on October 2nd to support their local school district and staff.
Thank you for your support of Dolores Schools,
Reece Blincoe
Superintendent of Schools
