Michael Rime

Director

My name is Michael Rime, and I’m proud to serve on your Dolores School Board.

Continuous self-improvement has always been a priority for me. I proudly served as an Infantryman in the Army from 2013 to 2016, where I honed my skills in teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. After exiting the military, I went to school to earn a Bachelor of General Studies from the University of Nevada in Reno, with a minor in Political Science and Psychology. Continuing my academic journey, I earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Southern California.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy and tranquility in various hobbies. Working around my small hay farm allows me to connect with nature and foster self-sustainability; it teaches patience and the importance of consistency. I also enjoy golfing, which I believe is a sport that teaches the ability to perform under stress and make every opportunity count. When I’m seeking adventure and in need of reflection, you’ll find me exploring the great outdoors of Colorado.

Family is at the core of my world. I am married to the love of my life, Sarah, who is beautiful and talented beyond compare. I am also blessed with two wonderful children: Keira, my energetic & strong-willed four-year-old daughter, and Tristan, my talented & resilient thirteen-year-old son. They inspire me to be the best version of myself and remind me of the importance of cherishing every moment.

In closing, I feel honored to be given the opportunity to serve on the Dolores School Board and will represent my community faithfully and diligently.
