Dear Parents of the Dolores District,
Dolores Schools appreciates the support we receive from parents within our district and also those families who attend from other districts.
Each year the State Board of Education determines a date that our students will be counted and reported to the state. The operation of our district is primarily funded based on student attendance on count day. These funds are used for maintenance, operations, all staff salaries, and all other aspects of running a school district.
Monday, October 3rd, is our count day. Although attendance is highly important every day, we ask that parents encourage students to make every effort to attend school on October 3rd in support of your local school district and staff.
