Dear Dolores Families:
Our hearts are heavy this morning as we share news of an accident that occurred yesterday afternoon involving a Dolores family that resulted in the tragic death of one of our 7th grade students. While traveling to a BMX competition in Phoenix, the Pawlicki Family was involved in an automobile accident outside of Flagstaff, AZ. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and we wish to express our deepest condolences.
Support for our students will be provided on an ongoing basis by our school counseling team. Additionally, on Monday and Tuesday of next week we will have the Community Crisis Response Counseling Team members at school to support our staff and students through the grieving process.
Financial assistance for the Pawlicki family can be given through an account that has been set up in the family name at the Dolores State Bank or through a GoFundMe account.
